According to the Woodworking Network, Senseon’s RFID-based Secure Access Control System won in the Retail Technology Solutions category of this year’s GlobalShop Product Design Competition.

Senseon, introduced by Accuride International in September 2016, won in the Retail Technology Solutions category. It uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) and patented locking technology to transform how commercial establishments safeguard and manage access to contents in cabinets, improving security and risk management procedures.

“We are proud to receive this prestigious award for the Senseon system, which we have designed as the smart replacement for traditional locks and keys,” said Senseon Solutions Marketing Director Greg Rewers. “Our goal is to make Senseon the go-to choice for retailers needing to protect their high-value merchandise while also making these items easily available to employees and customers in sleek, elegant surroundings.”
