Awarded at GlobalShop@RetailX in Chicago and spotlighted in Retail Environments magazine, Senseon by Accuride International was recently selected as the 2019 ASID Design Impact winner for Senseon Plus, its latest line of innovative cabinet-level electronic locking systems.

With its official launch aligned with the GlobalShop expo in Chicago, Senseon Plus was singled out from a pool of competitive candidates by a respected panel of judges who have a keen eye for design excellence within dynamic industries and settings such as: healthcare, hospitality, retail, residential, and the everyday workplace.

Randy Fiser, Hon. FASID, CEO of the American Society of Interior Designers, offers further insight into the organization’s criteria and vision, “ASID believes that design impacts lives and seeks to recognize companies who make that belief a priority in their work. We count Senseon among those organizations.”

Designed with the end-user in mind, Senseon and Senseon Plus implement seamless security by means of rapid-fire RFID technology. At Senseon, cabinet-level access is made more simple and efficient without sacrificing safety. The 2nd generation of electronic locking systems from Senseon includes audit trail, dual authentication, as well as additional security features that are quickly making keys an archaic relic of the past–one cabinet at a time.
